Shop PinkBlush on Black Friday!

Monday, November 23, 2020

This is my second time being pregnant during the holidays, and it is my absolute favorite time of year to be pregnant! Along with all of the guilt-free indulgences in sweets, fall and winter maternity clothes are just so cute and cozy! And the best part is that we are in sale-season as well, including PinkBlush, my favorite maternity wear go-to. They will be hosting their biggest sale of the year on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday with 40% Off Dresses, 30% Off Bottoms & Jumpsuits, 25% Off Tops, Sleep, & Robes, 50% Off Clearance, and Free Standard US & Canada Shipping using the code: BLACKFRIDAY

PinkBlush was sweet enough to gift me some items that I can wear through this most wonderful time of year, and I have been loving them so much.

I got my first pair of PinkBlush maternity jeans, and they are so comfy cozy that I could wear them every day! I paired them with this adorable plaid maternity top, and it made for the cutest little festive outfit!

I also was gifted the prettiest robe I’ve ever seen. It’s so soft, and fits over my bump which is hard to find! I will definitely be bringing this robe to the hospital with me so that I can be super comfortable and have easy access for nursing.

I can’t recommend the robes from Pink Blush enough. If you are pregnant or looking for a special gift for someone who is, one of their robes will not disappoint!

Make sure you start making your list for PinkBlush’s Black Friday sale, and go visit my latest Instagram post where I am giving away a $75 gift card!

Five Month Bumpdate

Wednesday, November 4, 2020

How far along: 5 months (22 weeks 3 days)
Weight gain: 5 pounds
Stretch marks: Nope
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: Sleep is pretty great right now, can’t complain!
Best moment this month: Finding out that baby girl is perfectly healthy at her anatomy scan, and seeing how adorable she is already!
Worst moment this month: Also at the anatomy scan, finding out I am at risk for placenta accreta and placenta previa. I am so scared, but trying to have faith that God will see me through everything!
Miss anything: I have days when I’m seriously looking forward to not being pregnant anymore, but for the most part I’m trying to enjoy it.
Movement: Oh yes, this little girl is a tiny dancer now.
Cravings: peanut butter, salty snacks, and soft tacos from Taco Bell.Which is why I finally gained 5 pounds!
Anything make you queasy or sick: Nothing! Food is finally my friend!
Looking forward to: Finally picking out a name for our sweet little one! We are having the hardest time ever!

Four Month Bumpdate

Friday, October 9, 2020

How far along: 4 months (19 weeks)
Weight gain: nothing yet
Stretch marks: Nope
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: Occasional insomnia and getting up to pee like 3-4 times!
Best moment this month: Finding out the gender! So excited for baby girl #3!
Worst moment this month: Definitely my bladder episodes. I feel like I have a bladder infection at all times (I don’t, its just from pressure) and landed in the ER for urine retention. I had another episode with it last Friday and Brian had to leave work to help me with the catheter. It’s been a rough time.
Miss anything: Just peeing without having a panic attack really.
Movement: Some random kicks but nothing consistent at all. I think she likes to hide!
Cravings: chocolate pudding, kettle corn, and breakfast foods (especially egg and cheese burritos)
Anything make you queasy or sick: Nope! I finally got my heartburn/indigestion under control thanks to Prevacid and the morning sickness is long gone!
Looking forward to: My anatomy scan is on the 21st and I can’t wait to see how big baby girl has gotten!

Three Month Bumpdate

Tuesday, September 8, 2020

How far along: 3 months (14 weeks 4 days)
Weight gain: Still no weight gain yet, I’ve lost a few pounds from my starting weight
Stretch marks: Nope
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: Occasional insomnia, but when I sleep through the night, I sleep great!
Best moment this month: Seeing our little nugget at an ultrasound finally looking like a baby! He/she was sucking their little thumb and it was the sweetest thing!
Worst moment this month: At two separate ultrasounds, baby would not get into position so that the techs could get the measurements they needed to complete my NT scan so now I have inconclusive results.
Miss anything: Honestly not really, I feel like the third time around you know how fast it really goes. The sushi and alcohol will come haha
Movement: A few flutters this week, but nothing super consistent
Cravings: Costco pumpkin pie (which doesn’t exist for a couple of weeks apparently), apple juice, oatmeal, and sausage egg and cheddar sandwiches from Starbucks.
Anything make you queasy or sick: The nausea was BAD from like 8-13 weeks but it’s way better now. This baby is not a big fan of anything super sweet though, and my heartburn/indigestion is out of control.
Looking forward to: Hopefully finding out the gender soon! I can’t wait to know what this baby is, and I can’t believe I ever got it in my head that I wanted to wait until birth to find out. Ha.

Natalie At 2 1/2!

Monday, August 10, 2020

My Natalie Louise turned 2.5 yesterday, so I figured it was time to do a little update on her! This little chick is one smart cookie, and she’s honestly a joy to have around. She, of course, drives me crazy, As 2-year-olds will do, but she has a very sweet disposition most of the time and is so much fun!

 Here are her latest stats:

Age: 2 1/2

Weight: 26.5 lbs

Height: 34 inches

Clothing size: 2T

Teeth: Everything but her 2-year molars! So far one has cut but we are waiting on the other 3.

Favorite foods: She eats a peanut butter and jelly sandwich almost every day! She’s obsessed. She also loves cereal, fruit, steak, and broccoli.

Words: This girl is an amazing talker, and I’m so proud of her. She can already keep up with her sister in pretend games, and loves to chit chat with me about her toys and favorite things. She can count to 10 unassisted, 20 assisted, and sings her own little version of the ABC’s. She’s very polite and uses her manners so well for her age. She’s quick to apologize and always says “Thank you” and “no thank you”.

Favorite activities: playing outside (doesn’t matter what she just loves being outside), coloring, reading books, and playing in the play room.

Least favorite activities: She doesn’t like being told she can’t do something that she wants to do, but she gets over her fits super fast. She’s definitely not a prolonged crier/tantrum thrower so it’s nice. When she’s mad she can be easily distracted by something else.

Favorite toys: Little people, stuffed animals, baby dolls, and the play kitchen.

Signature moves: Insisting on saying goodnight to everyone in the house a second time to avoid bed. Rejecting her food when I put it in front of her, but if I leave it there for a while, she will eat everything on the plate. Telling Baylee “You my best fwen.”

I can’t believe in 6 short months we will be celebrating this girl’s 3rd birthday and then she will be become a big sister shortly after that! It’s going to be the best!

Happy half birthday my Natty Lou! Mommy loves you more than I could ever explain!

Baby Tibbetts #3!

Thursday, July 30, 2020

It’s still hard to believe, but Baby #3 is officially on the way! If you follow along on my Instagram, you know that I was truly struggling with the decision of what to do next after our miscarriage in March. We have two beautiful girls, so of course I knew I would be happy no matter what, but there was a part of me that just didn’t feel like our family was complete. God gave me a lot of time to mull it over, because two months past my miscarriage, I still hadn’t got my period back. I decided to see my fertility doctor, and he asked if my goal was to do another cycle. I told him I was still at the “wait and see” point, so he gave me medication to help bring my cycle back and I promised myself that no matter what I was going to make the decision for me. Not for Brian, not for the kids, just me.

I made the appointment for my baseline ultrasound and testing still not knowing for sure what I wanted to do. But during my ultrasound I got really good vibes and my doctor said he had never seen my uterus look so beautiful (misshapen but beautiful!) That was the sign I needed, so I decided to move forward. I got all my meds in and told a very excited Brian that we were going to give it one last shot!

It was SO hard to keep it a secret, but I knew I needed to just focus, and it ended up being a great decision. On June 17th (my  Nanny’s (grandma) birthday!) we transferred a beautiful frozen embryo, and prayed that this one wold be our Baby #3!

Sure enough, when blood test day rolled around I had an HCG level of 782! We were very elated, but knew this was only step one after having experienced two losses. We hurdled step 2 and made it farther than my loss in March with a second HCG draw in the 9,000s. I was supposed to have my first ultrasound a couple weeks later, but I started bleeding a little and freaked out. My doctor was able to get me in first thing the next morning. We found out I just have a super small hematoma, and saw our little grain of rice baby and the slightest flicker of a heartbeat!

Since then I have had a couple more ultrasounds and each one the baby has shown growth, which is wonderful! The last appointment I had, baby had a wonder heart rate of 168 and looked amazing! I have what should be my last ultrasound with my fertility doctor tomorrow, and then after that I should be free to see my O.B. and continue on as a normal pregnancy! I am so excited to be done with shots and to watch my belly grow one last time! :)

Thank you again for your support and prayers, and for following along on our journey! We love you all!

Baylee is 6!

Thursday, July 16, 2020

Yesterday my big girl turned 6 and had the best day! I had Brian take her for a drive for couple of hours and she came home to a little surprise ice cream party with some of her little girlfriends! It was so fun, and simple...the best kind of day!

It’s hard to believe that this girl is 6 already, I really don’t know how time has flown so fast! She is reading books like crazy, and is a little sponge brain.
