Seven Months With Evelyn

 

Sweet girl is 7 months old and she’s starting to be so much fun! She’s officially in 9 month clothes and on her last box of size 2 diapers. Her hair is filling in nicely, and so far it’s the exact same dishwater blonde as my Natty Lou! Her eyes are currently still light blue, so I’m really curious to see if that sticks around. :)

Evy didn’t have a lot of milestones this month, but the ones she did have are huge! She finally found her inner foodie and have been having one BLW or purée meal every day. So far rice and shredded chicken have been her favs

She also became Stella’s biggest fan this month and thinks its just the funniest thing whenever the dog comes near her. I love that Miss Stella is helping raise one last sweet baby.

After she perfected her sit, Evy decided it’s officially time for “crawl practice, so she spends most of her day on all fours or “swimming” on her belly. I think we have a few weeks at most before this girl starts scooting around the house!

Miss Bigstuff also graduated from her Magic Sleepsuit and is sleeping in a sleep sack now! I seriously can’t believe it, I feel like I was just swaddling her yesterday…

Her personality is starting to shine more and more. She loves her people, passes out smiles like she gets paid for it, and thinks the car and mommy walking away are the worst possible things that exist. I love you to the moon and back sweet baby! Happy 7 months!

Spooky Sleepers (My Favorite Halloween Pajamas)

 

I’m not going to lie, this year I went a little crazy on the Halloween jammies, but I stopped myself at 3 pairs for each girl, so I guess that’s not TOO bad… 🙃

Evelyn’s 6 Month Photoshoot

 

My tiniest love turned 6 months old, so in true Tibbetts Girl fashion we had to have a photoshoot! The wonderful Jamie D. Photography did it again, and totally brought my orange slice milk bath and vintage shabby chic images to life! :) This is just a sample of the 90ish images she sent me of my sweet Evelyn!

Six Months With Evelyn

My tiniest love is half a year old, and I seriously think this going to officially go down as the fastest year of my life! I am so excited, though, because all the fun milestones like eating solid food, crawling, and talking are on the way, as well as Evelyn’s first holiday season!

I’m not sure about Evy’s size right now but she feels around 15 pounds…we will find out for sure on Monday at her 6 month checkup. She’s in size 6 month clothes (some of which are even getting a little snug!) and size 2 diapers. She is finally starting to like tummy time more, but is still not a fan of rolling over. After tons of practice though, my girl started sitting up this month, and her world has been so much happier ever since! 

 

Along with finding her new favorite toy (a.k.a. her toes), we finally got to see what she thinks of the little tikes swing (big fan!) and she got a new Skip Hop Activity table which she looooves. 

We also started adding in some solid food adventures this month! She’s hit or miss about purées, and BLW is more about playing than actually consuming food, but that just means she’s going to take it slow which I am completely okay with! However, she had zero problems sharing her sister’s popsicle. ;)

Happy 6 months my Evers! It just keeps getting better with you!

We had her party on Saturday and it was so chill and so much fun! She has been Disney Descendants obsessed for the last few months, so when it came time to pick a theme she knew exactly what she wanted! I still can’t believe my big girl is 7 and going to second grade now!
