Whiter Teeth With Smile Brilliant

Thursday, February 28, 2019

When I first started working a desk job in my early 20's, I quickly became an avid coffee and tea drinker, so you can imagine how much worse that habit got once I started having kids a few years later. (I mean the name off my blog is Coffee & Grace haha) While I adore both, coffee and tea are terrible for staining teeth, and for the longest time I have been very self conscious about how much my teeth were yellowing. That's why I was so excited when I found Smile Brilliant. I knew that I had finally found a whitening regime that would work for me, and hopefully have great results!

Once I got my kit to make my teeth molds, I immediately began the process. It was actually kind of fun! Before long I was mailing them off, and then my customized trays were delivered right back around 10 days later. I was so excited to begin the process!

The directions were simple, and the gel was easy to put in to the trays. I whitened during the day for the sake of getting the pictures for the blog, but almost every other session I did right before bed so that the desensitizing gel could really soak in. I did have some discomfort a few sessions in, so I spread my whitening out to every other day, and that really helped a lot!

Because the trays are fitted, they're super comfortable, and in the mirror you can barely tell you have them on. Each session takes a little over an hour, so I would use that time to just relax and scroll through Instagram or Pinterest before bed. :)

I have tried other whitening products including toothpaste, mouthwash, and strips, and the bottom line is that nothing has whitened my teeth the way Smile Brilliant has! These are completely unedited before and after photos:

I could not believe how much whiter and brighter my teeth look! I keep checking out my own grin in the mirror now because I am so excited to see my old pearly whites again! ;)

Smile Brilliant wants to help one of my readers get a whiter and brighter smile, so I teamed up with them to give away an entire kit! Just click here to enter! Twelve Months With Natalie!

Friday, February 15, 2019

A week late, because life has been so busy, but here is Natalie's last milestone blanket update!

This sweet girl is becoming a little toddler at the speed of sound! She still hasn't taken any steps, but she can stand unassisted for a really long time now, and she cruises back and forth on the couch all day. I know walking is right around the corner, and I'm so excited!

Age: 12 months

Weight: 20.5 lbs

Height: 28.5 inches

Clothing size: 12 months

Teeth: Still only 2, but her top gums are suuuper swollen

Favorite foods: mac'n'cheese, spaghetti, bananas, carrots, peas, yogurt, & apples

Words: same as last month, and we added "hi", "thank you", and "cheese"

Favorite activities: baths, eating, and playing with big sis

Least favorite activites: getting in her car seat (or really anything with a seat belt) & diaper changes/getting dressed

Favorite toys: all stuffed animals, her activity table, books, and blocks

Signature moves: giggling and crawling away as fast as she can when being chased (especially if she has something she shouldn't), cracking up at Baylee's shenanigans, & putting toys up to her ear like a phone and saying "hi hi hi hi"

I can't wait to see how much Natty grows and changes over the next year! I have a feeling we are in for a crazy but fun adventure! :)

Love you forever, my peanut!

Natalie In Onederland!

Monday, February 11, 2019

Natalie's first birthday was on Saturday, so we spent the day throwing the cutest "Natalie In Onederland" themed party! It was so nice to be able to host at our new house and we all had the best time. I decided to throw an afternoon/evening party so that Natalie's naps could all be over, so she was a happy baby through the whole party. :)

For dinner we had meatball subs, pulled pork subs, and homemade mac'n'cheese. Along with a sheet cake for dessert, we also had cookies, cupcakes, rice krispie treats, and cheshire cat tails (marshmallows on a skewer dipped in candy melts). Everything was so yummy, and I was in love with the dessert table.

Once again, Natalie was thrilled by her smash cake. She had everyone cracking up, and had Mommy regretting the red frosting choice!

After the cake, Natalie got a quick bath, an outfit change, and we went back to the party to visit with all her guests as well as open presents. It was so nice to spend time with all the family and friends who came to celebrate my little peanut! :)

Happy First Birthday, my sweet Natty Lou! You were always meant to be, and we love you to the moon and back!

Natalie's 1st Birthday Photos!

Friday, February 8, 2019

My baby is going to be 1 tomorrow and I can't believe it! We decided to have her party theme be "Natalie in Onederland", so I thought it would be fun to do a cake smash photo shoot with the same theme! I called up my friend Jamie (owner of Jamie D. Photography) who did her 6 month pictures, and once again she amazed me! I am so in love with the whole shoot, and she was hysterical with her cake! This is just a sample of my favorites of all the amazing shots she sent me. :)
