18 Months With Evelyn!

Monday, August 15, 2022

My littlest love is 18 months old, and I’m seriously trying to figure out how time is going by so fast! She’s suddenly so fun, so silly, and so mischievous and I am here for it! 😂

Age: 18 months

Weight: 22 lbs

Height: 31 inches

Clothing size: 12 months

Teeth: 12 right now and 4 in the process of cutting!

Favorite foods: pancakes, pasta, any and all fruit, cheese, and ZBars

Words: Evy is finally starting to talk up a storm! She says around 20 words on the regular and is adding more every day. Her favorite things to say are “hi”, “bye bye”, “baby”, “dog”, “eat”, and naming the body parts on a face!

Favorite activities: playing in the playroom, playing outside, riding her stride trike, baths, and going bye bye (but not the car part)

Least favorite activites: she still hates long car rides, isn’t a big fan of eating anymore, and hates having to come inside after playing outside

Favorite toys: stride trike, baby dolls, blocks, and “Bluey” figures

Signature moves: Always stopping to dance to the “Bluey” theme song, picking up my phone and running with it, saying “unh uh” or “no” to most food she’s offered, crawling all over the back of the couch like a cat

We love you to the moon and stars sweet Evy! I can’t wait to see how much you change over the next 6 months before you turn 2! 💕

Baylee is 8!

Monday, July 18, 2022

I unintentionally had 5 months of radio silence over here on the blog, but you know I had to make a comeback to write the 8 year update for my Baylee! I still can’t believe we have entered “big kid” territory over here. Before I know it she will be a preteen, then a teen, and wow…I can’t handle it! 😅

I am so very proud of the young lady she is becoming! She’s passionate about her people and the things she loves, and puts her all in to everything that she sets her mind to. There is no doubt about it, this girl has one bright future ahead and I am so thankful that I get to be here to witness it!

12 Months With Evelyn

Tuesday, February 22, 2022

It’s official, the Tibbetts house is a toddler/preschooler/kiddo house only, and it’s such a bittersweet feeling to know the baby days are over. I am absolutely loving Evelyn at 12 months old, though, so that makes up for the sadness. She is so sweet and silly, and will do absolutely anything for a laugh these days so life has been very entertaining. 😆

Age: 12 months

Weight: 20 lbs

Height: 29 inches

Clothing size: 12 months

Teeth: 6 total (4 on top and 2 on the bottom)

Favorite foods: pasta, chicken, peas, blueberries, & bananas

Words: dada, baba, mama, dog, hi (but she doesn’t say them on the regular, she’s not a big talker by any means)

Favorite activities: playing in the playroom with her sisters, playing outside, baths, and eating

Least favorite activites: diaper changes, clothing changes, and long car rides (some things never change)

Favorite toys: walker, blocks, puzzles, and books

Signature moves: Scooting around on one knee instead of walking or crawling, dancing to Encanto every time she hears any songs from it, laughing at her sisters always because they obviously are the greatest comedy show of all time!

The two big things that Evy did this month were her party and 1st birthday smash cake pictures, but those were so special that I’m working on separate blog posts for them, so keep an eye out!

We love you forever Evy girl! Thank you for 12 months of love and joy!

Natalie is 4!

Tuesday, February 15, 2022

And just like that…my middle little is 4! I remember Baylee turning 4, and it just felt like such a big number, and this time with Natalie is no exception. Four is the end of the toddler/preschooler days, she’s finding her own independence, and I know I’m going to blink and she will be a 5-year-old in full-time school. But for now, I’m going to try my best to soak up this precious, innocent age! ☺️

Here is Natalie’s age 4 interview:

Favorite color?: pink & purple

Favorite toy?: Chocolate Bunny

Favorite food?: blueberries

Favorite movie?: “Sleeping Beauty”

Favorite snack?: Pirate’s Booty

Favorite animal?: bunny

Favorite book?: “Dr. Seuss ABC’s”

Favorite song?: “Knockin’ Boots” (going strong two years in a row 😂)

Best friend?: Baylee

Favorite cereal?: Pumpkin Cheerios

Favorite thing to drink?: “green juice!” (Which means the Green Machine Naked juice)

Favorite holiday?: Valentine’s Day

Toy you take to bed with you every night?: Chocolate Bunny

Favorite thing to do outside?: scavenger hunt

Favorite place to go? Disneyland!!!

Favorite show on TV?: “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”

My sweet little creature of habit. Six of her answers are repeats from last year, because my girl stays faithful to what she loves. 😉

Natalie is growing like a little weed. She’s currently in 4T clothes and a size 8 shoe. She started school and dance this year, and has come out of her shell so much. She doesn’t command attention, but has a huge sense of humor that keeps us all laughing all day long. She has taken on her big sister roll flawlessly, and loves to play and spend time with baby Evelyn. Her favorite things in the world are her books, stuffed animals, and princess dresses. Her and Baylee spend most of their time at home in the playroom playing school, restaurant, or “princess party” and even though they fight sometimes, they are the best of friends.

Natalie is one smart cookie, and school has definitely helped her! She can now recognize all 26 letters and numbers 1-10. She is also starting to get the hang of what sound every letter makes and how to write them. She can fully spell and recognize her name, and knows all her shapes and colors (even semicircle!) I’m so proud of my big girl!

Happy 4th Birthday, “Baby Mine”, I love you to the moon and back, and I hope this year is as amazing as you! 💕

11 Months With Evelyn

Monday, January 17, 2022

I swear I brought this baby home from the hospital like 2 weeks ago…yet somehow she’s already 11 months old! 😭 She is growing and changing every day, and even though I will forever miss her newborn snuggles, it’s been so fun watching another little girl’s personality start to develop!

Age: 11 months

Weight: 20 lbs

Height: unsure but probably around 28 inches…we will find out next month at her doctor’s appointment

Clothing size: 12 months

Teeth: two on the bottom, 1 on top and 3 more trying to cut! 😅

Favorite foods: yogurt, pasta, chicken, & fishy crackers

Words: dada, baba, mama, dog, hi

Favorite activities: trying to walk at all times (cruising, pushing her walker, holding our hands etc) chasing her sisters, playing in the playroom, and going for walks

Least favorite activites: diaper changes, clothing changes, and long car rides

Favorite toys: walker, anything that functions as a teether because her mouth hurts sooo bad, her rocking llama

Signature moves: escaping through an open baby gate and trying to go upstairs as fast as she can, waving and saying “hi” whenever someone walks in to the room she’s in, feeding Stella 90% of her food, and only saying “mama” while she’s crying

This month sweet girl got to enjoy all the fun around the holidays. She had the best first Christmas and it was so much fun to watch her open presents and get the most excited about the paper.

She also had her first New Year’s Eve! We had a quiet night at home, but tried out best to make it super fun for the girls. Evy’s favorite things were the balloons and noisemakers.

And now we are in full party-prep mode for this little munchkin’s first birthday! I can’t believe its the last first birthday party we will ever host, but I can’t wait to celebrate our crazy girl! We couldn’t love you more, Evers! Happy 11 months!
