Twenty Six Weeks

Wednesday, November 29, 2017

How far along: 26 weeks 4 days
Weight gain: 10 pounds
Stretch marks: Nope
Belly button in or out: We have officially entered outie territory.
Sleep: I wake up a few times, but other than that I'm sleeping great!
Best moment this week: Brian finally got to feel one of her dance parties the other night! She's been a little booger, and stops kicking whenever he puts his hand on my belly, but she finally showed him some love. :)
Worst moment this week: No complaints really, except I'm starting to have some back pain. Hopefully it doesn't get to bad.
Miss anything: Not fearing spaghetti sauce and chocolate...both give me the worst heartburn!
Movement: Oh yes! And I'm starting to learn her patterns of her active and quiet times of the day, so it's really neat. So far, she's the most active about an hour after dinner. She should weigh around 2 pounds and is about 13-14 inches long now!
Cravings: French fries and milkshakes.
Anything make you queasy or sick: Nope, just the heartburn culprits.
Looking forward to: I have an OB appointment today, and then I'll go every 3 weeks for the next couple of months! Can't believe how close we are getting!

Christmas Maternity Photo Shoot

Sunday, November 26, 2017

This year, for Christmas pictures, we decided to kill two birds with one stone and have a Christmas themed maternity shoot! We had them done by the wonderful Chris & Randi of Genesis Imagery, and as usual we had the best time! When Randi sent my pictures over the other day, I completely teared up. They took visions I had in my head and made them more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. :)

It was so hard to pick my favorites to share on the blog, but here are the ones I love most!

Did you catch baby girl's name reveal? ;)

If you're in the area and are looking for a wedding, couples, or family photographer, make sure you check Genesis Imagery out! We have had wonderful adventures shooting with them, and as you can see, the product is gorgeous!

Until next time! XoXoXo

Twenty Five Weeks

Friday, November 24, 2017

How far along: 25 weeks 6 days
Weight gain: 9 pounds
Stretch marks: Nope
Belly button in or out: Flat as a pancake!
Sleep: Sleeping much better! Baby girl wakes me up with her dance parties sometimes, but I don't mind one bit. :)
Best moment this week: My baby shower was completely wonderful, and also spending Thanksgiving with our families and eating so much yummy food!
Worst moment this week: My heartburn and indigestion are just out of control. I wake up in so much pain in the middle of the night sometimes that I have to take Tums on top of taking Zantac.
Miss anything: Not having heartburn and indigestion...I definitely didn't have it this bad with Bay!
Movement: Feeling her a lot more often unless I'm having a busy day and moving around a lot. I can tell she's getting huge!
Cravings: Honestly, nothing really this week besides milk.
Anything make you queasy or sick: Not really! Feeling pretty
Looking forward to: Hitting the third trimester! We are soooo close!

Baby Sprinkle Shower!

Monday, November 20, 2017

Since Baby Girl #2 is getting a lot of hand-me-downs from Baylee, we decided to have a small, simple "Baby Sprinkle" for our shower this time! My sister-in-law, Jenny, threw it for us at her house with a "Sprinkle Donut" theme, and it turned out absolutely perfect. We all had so much fun, and I felt so blessed!

We had "brunch" to go along with the donut theme. We ate scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, and of course donuts (including a huge and delicious donut cake)! We had mimosas and "momosas" for those of us who can't drink the bubbly. ;) It was the most gorgeous weather, so we were able to sit outside to eat our food and enjoy the family being together.

After playing a few games, and announcing the diaper raffle winner, I opened gifts for sweet baby girl. I was having so much fun, and then I opened a card from one of my sisters that said "Worth the Wait" on the front. It totally caught me off guard, and I started crying. There are absolutely no words to describe the happiness that I was feeling opening baby gifts again. I honestly thought for a long while that I was never going to get that experience ever again, so the whole day was just so surreal. I'm still completely giddy that we got to celebrate our little IVF miracle with such a special day!

"Made with lots of love and a little science."

It was such a wonderful shower, and I can't thank Jenny, everyone who helped her, and everyone who came enough! We are so ready to turn our little party of 3 into a party of 4 in just a few short months!

Until next time! XoXoXo
